Dr. Suarez will meet with you (or your child and you) and conduct a full assessment before making specific treatment recommendations based on your individual needs and personal goals.

Treatment may consist of individual psychotherapy, medication management, a combination of both, couples therapy, family therapy, and/or alternative options which may be worthy of consideration.

Dr. Suarez uses a direct and supportive treatment approach with an emphasis on results.

He has extensive training and experience in treating conditions that can affect children and adolescents including:

  • Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder
  • Depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders
  • Social phobia and other anxiety disorders.

He has similar experience in treating the same conditions in adults in addition to expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of addictions.

Your own situation may not be the result of any type of mental illness, however. It could be due to other factors including unfortunate experiences you have had and occasionally counterproductive patterns of thought and/or behavior that you have developed over time.

Based on a detailed and ongoing assessment and the therapeutic guidance offered by Dr. Suarez, you will be able to first identify these experiences, thoughts, and behaviors and then develop and implement alternative ways of thinking and acting which will in turn lead to better outcomes in different areas of your life.
